The Polwarth Pre-Loved Sales aim to raise money for local charities. Charities are chosen by the committee.

All of our sales take place in the Polwarth Parish Church.

Polwarth Parish Church
Polwarth Terrace
EH11 1LU

The area around the church is a controlled parking zone, this is enforced during office hours Monday to Friday. On a Saturday during the sale parking in the area around the church is free.

Lothian Buses No 10 and No 27 stop right outside the church in both directions.

We couldn’t run these sales without our fantastic team of volunteers.  If you are interested in getting involved to help raise money for local charities and enjoy meeting new people please get in touch as we would love to hear from you.

Volunteers can help on the Friday (sale set up), Saturday (during sale and clear up) or both.

A perk of volunteering on the day of the sale is that you get access to the sale before we open the doors to the public!

Please sign up to our mailing list and select your interest in volunteering for our future sales and we'll be in touch!

If you would like to sign up to volunteer at the next sale on the 25 April please follow the link

All sales are run on a non-profit basis with all proceeds going to local charities or other worthy causes.

There is often a queue for the sales before the doors open, we would advise buyers to get to the church early if they can.

The sales are often extremely busy therefore we advise that buggies or prams are not taken into the sale halls. There will be space to store your buggy so you don't need to bring it into the space.

As the sales can be extremely busy, we advise buyers where they can, not to bring small children, it makes for a more enjoyable experience for you! Typically, over 7800 items are sold in total from the Spring and Autumn Sales!

We also have teas and coffees and a great selection of home baking to recharge you during the sale!
